If you have a problem with Pegasus Mail or Mercury, the following resources are
available to help you:
For both Pegasus Mail and Mercury:
- Your first port of call is the Pegasus Mail and Mercury community web site,
at http://community.pmail.com. This public
resource brings together Pegasus Mail and Mercury users from all over the world,
and is the primary place to find information about development, to get support,
and to keep in touch.
- There are public mailing lists available
where the Pegasus Mail community meets, shares problems and solutions and generally
discusses issues related to Pegasus Mail. These lists range from an extremely low-volume
list for announcements about Pegasus Mail, to lists discussing specific versions of the
program.
- You can submit a request for technical support with Pegasus Mail to our support
mailing lists, where experienced volunteers will attempt to assist you as time permits
- send your request to
winpmail-support@pmail.gen.nz.
For licensed Mercury users:
- If you have purchased a Mercury license, then you are entitled to a certain
number of technical support incidents each year, handled directly by the author
of the program. Send your request, including a detailed description of the problem
you are seeing, to
mercury-support@pmail.gen.nz, making sure you include your license number in
the subject line of your message. If you do not include your license number in the
subject line, you may not get any kind of reply because of filtering processes
we have had to implement in order to control access to the resource.
Please note that we cannot provide technical support by telephone, or by fax. We
understand that many people may be more comfortable with phone support, but it's a simple
resource problem - we're a quite small operation and telephone technical support is just
too staff- and time-intensive to be practical. We apologize if this causes any
inconvenience.
